About the Event

This group has been postponed but will be resumed when it is safe to do so. It responds to a gap in programs that support us as women with the challenges we face in our middle and later years. The intention of this group is to provide a space in which mature women can come together, connect and safely explore things that matter to us. The agenda for the program will be both structured and emergent, shaped where possible by the interests and contributions of the women who attend. A mix of art forms and activities will be included, using art as a form of inquiry into our experiences, emotions, values and resources. The group is open to both NDIS and other participants and will be inclusive in both spirit and practice. While the age group is estimated roughly at 40 plus, if you self-identify with the terms mature, woman, transgender and/or non-binary you are more than welcome to attend. There is no need to identify as an artist!

It is important to make a commitment to the whole program, as unsteady attendance impacts on the viability of the group and the experience and outcomes for other members. At this point, however, you are asked only to indicate your interest and reserve a place, and I will be in touch to confirm your booking when I can provide the dates and final details. If you are unable to attend, please get in touch quickly and free the space for another participant.

If the group is subsequently cancelled due to insufficient numbers or further health guidelines responding to COVID-19, full refunds will be provided. The group may also be offered online, or a follow up program offered after the last session, if this is of interest to the members.

As this group is offered as a program, the full cost over four fortnights is $440, or $400 for self-funded concession. Payment is usually upfront but NDIS participants will be asked to give two weeks notice of an intent to withdraw and to pay for the program in full after the first appointment. When the program dates are released and you confirm your registration, the cancellation rate for all bookings with less than 2 weeks notice will be 50% the full cost of the program, unless another participant is found and confirmed. Casual workers and others economically impacted by the Coronavirus will be eligible for the concession, with a further sliding scale available if needed.

If you have any questions, issues or need to get a refund, contact Alisoun Neville.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
